Paternity Leave

🍼Two weeks isn’t enough 👶🏻

I met with The Dad Shift to discuss the need for better paternity leave and fairer support for families.

The proposed changes would benefit around 800 working dads in Stourbridge, Brierley Hill and Netherton, giving them six weeks of properly paid leave during those vital first weeks of a child’s life.

This time is invaluable, helping dads bond with their babies while supporting mums as they recover and settle into life with a new baby.

That’s why I’m backing a call for change along with other MPs to improve paternity leave.
