Great news for Netherton and Holly Hall. I’m delighted that 33 community projects will receive a share of more than £420,000 in Pride in Place funding, supporting local organisations that are making a real difference in our communities. As the local MP, I sit on the Pride in Place board and I’m so pleased to see the first batch of projects funded.
The funding will help deliver improvements to community facilities, green spaces, wellbeing programmes, youth services and other local initiatives designed to strengthen communities and improve quality of life.
This is part of the wider £20 million Pride in Place programme, which will invest in communities across the area over the next decade, including Netherton.
Our area is fortunate to have so many dedicated volunteers and community groups. Congratulations to all 33 successful projects. I look forward to seeing the positive impact this investment will have for residents in Netherton, Holly Hall and across the wider community in the months ahead.
