I have co-signed letters to the CEO of Ofcom and the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade asking them to take stronger action to address Royal Mail’s unwillingness to acknowledge its own failings and to conduct an assessment on whether Ofcom has appropriate powers to address Royal Mail’s shortcomings.

I will continue to shine a light on the cases of my constituents missing essential post – with the regulator, in Parliament and with Royal Mail directly – until we see signs that things are improving.
